Fine Dining

Dining at Sharrow Bay Country House Hotel, whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or the fabulous afternoon tea, is an experience to be shared and cherished. The Sharrow Bay Restaurant has a Michelin star and has to be the finest hotel restaurant in the Lake District overlooking Lake Ullswater.

Mouth-watering desserts have always been and still are a highlight of the Sharrow experience. The individual dishes presented with flair and creativity are displayed each evening prior to dinner.

Breakfast too is a special treat at Sharrow. The ‘Sharrow Breakfast’ of bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, tomato, mushroom, apple and fried bread, is widely acclaimed as "the finest hotel breakfast" anywhere.

The original "signature" Afternoon Tea is served daily at both the Main House and Bank House. Guests can partake of an assortment of delicacies in the Dining Room or just relax in one of the comfortable lounges during this very special time of the day.

Most importantly, Sharrow Bay was the original creator of Sticky Toffee Pudding. If there’s a pudding to die for, this is it, as it was all those years ago and still as popular.

Sharrow is the proud holder of countless hotel and dining awards, including prestigious awards for its impressive classic wine list of over 700 wines, representing all the finest wine producing regions of the world.

The unique atmosphere at Sharrow Bay enables guests to relax and dine in luxurious comfort whilst enjoying the magnificent views of lake and fells.
