How to find us

Sharrow Bay sits on the shores of Ullswater in some of the most beautiful countryside in England. You really are far away from it all, yet only 20 minutes at the most from the transport hub of national road and rail routes at Penrith.

By Road

Sharrow bay is easily accessible from the M6 jct 40, A66 and A6.

Our postcode for your SatNav is CA10 2LZ

From the A66 from the East, exit at the Kemplay Roundabout on the A6 South for Eamont Bridge and Shap; turn right at the first roundabout in Eamont Bridge and take the B5320 to Pooley Bridge. At Pooley Bridge turn left, first exit, at the roundabout, and then right at the crossroads – you will join the road to Howtown. Follow this past Park Foot Campsite and the Yacht Club. This can at times be a single track road, but there are plenty of passing spaces. Sharrow Bay is just past the yacht club. About 5 minutes out of Pooley Bridge.

From the A6 from the south, turn left at the Eamont Bridge roundabout and follow the instructions as above.
